    Quiet observations, 2025
90 x 90cm acrylic, oil stick on polycotton

Peaceful moments by the water, where time seems to slow, the day drifts away and focus is on the way the slightest breeze makes and changes ripples

  • Afterglow

    $600.00

    Afterglow, 2025
    50 x 50cm acrylic on canvas
    Framed in Tasmanian oak

I reminisce childhood days, holidaying by different beaches than home. Spending the day climbing rock walls, wading through shallow water, surfing until the sun goes down. At the end of the day when the sky wears pink, I would stare out across the beach and have my earliest realisations of how good life can be.

  • Nightfall

    Nightfall

    $500.00

    Nightfall, 2025
    40 x 40cm acrylic on linen
    Framed in Tasmanian oak

I spent time observing Brett Whiteley’s, Pink Heron, and began thinking about the journey of birds over the ocean. Flying in unison to the flow of the water. Seeing sunrise to sunset, their journeys span across nightfall and I can only dream to carry their visions of coast to coast.

  • Ocean gazing

    Ocean gazing

    $420.00

    Ocean gazing, 2025
    30 x 30cm acrylic on canvas
    Framed in Tasmanian oak

It is ingrained in me to ocean gaze. I even prefer to gaze upon the beaches and sea more than being on them. I want to observe every detail in full. Every ripple, every rock pool and every memory in the making.

“Invitation to explore where the waves have rushed in and left sparkling pools in rocks. Textures and markings are already artworks in themselves. The edges appear as both rough and rounded and hold tiny life in shells. Fishes hide as quickly as they appear and only if you explore long enough do the rare sea creatures emerge from the darker corners.”

  • Standing in cold water, feeling warmth

    $3,200.00

Standing in cold water, feeling warmth, 2024
120 x 120cm acrylic, wax pastel on polycotton
    Framed in American ash

“Aisling Beach Rockpool in Eden NSW, became a memorable stop on our family road trip. Climbing over large purple rocks, our daughter Audrey causing mischief in the sand, followed by our spontaneous decision to strip down and jump in the water on a freezing autumn day. I stood in icy turquoise water, baby in my belly and watched my husband wade over to the cave like wall with a fascinated toddler. Taking in every detail of the dramatic pink cliff features that felt other worldly. Even as Audrey started to panic with her body going numb, my heart felt full and warm.”

“Family time away from home that sees a day through torrential rain and sunshine, concludes with sunset showers on the river and new flavours of ice cream. A memory like many where I have felt held and comforted by the way life has panned out, where I know the value in any given moment and its ability to strengthen our bonds.”

“I admired Cronulla beach at golden hour as I walked to dinner, I wanted to indulge in the ocean baths and rock pools. All drenched in an orange glow, mossy green details popped. I was excited to return in the morning to properly explore, the way I would as a child, but as it turns out this sight was only for low tide… now with only a few reference photos, I long to return“

  • Coffee shop kid

    Coffee shop kid

    $800.00

    Coffee shop kid, 2024
40 x 50cm acrylic wax pastel and oil pastel on polycotton
Framed in flooded gum with a blackwood coloured stain

“A still life composition reflecting on a coffee date with my then three year old daughter a while back. We’re raising a generation of kids where milkshakes, babycinos and banana bread are the norm. They know mummy needs a takeaway latte to get through the day even when there’s an expensive coffee machine at home.
Roaming around by the trees at our favourite local cafe, these kids still know how to make their own fun. On this particular day a toy police car was brought along and little purple flowers were picked from someone’s garden. Predicted symbols of nostalgia.”
